For your first project you will give a 15-minute presentation on a LEED certified building.
The building should have been constructed in the last 10 years and must have achieved a LEED certification of Silver, Gold, or Platinum.
The presentation must contain a basic over view of the building: Name of Building, Location, Architect, Owner, Year of Construction, Level of LEED Certification.
And then go into detail of the strategies and systems that were enacted in the design, construction and maintenance of the building that brought the building to its level of LEED certification.
This presentation should include the plans, sections and at least 5 large photographs of the building, along with at least 5 diagrams of the green strategies and systems. These diagrams can either be found or produced by you.
Make sure you identify the source of all drawings, pictures and diagrams you do not personally produce.
Due Dates:
Presentations will take place in February on the 11th, 18th and 24th and March 4th.
All presentations should be in PowerPoint and PDF and put on the blog the day of your presentation.
